PEACE OF MIND

Talking to a stranger about your private life may seem daunting but I hope my caring and understanding approach will put your mind at rest right from the start.

First, we’ll go through the details of your story which will give me some idea of how much it’s worth. Next, and only when I have your permission, I’ll contact the publications on your behalf. Newspapers and magazines want your story exclusively and can pay anything between £300 and £3000, depending on the publication and how big the story makes.

Sometimes, a story can appear in two or three newspapers and/or magazines, meaning more money for you. When you’re happy with my offer - confirmed in writing - I’ll be the one who carries out the interview, either over the telephone or face to face. You’ll be paid after you see your story in print which usually takes no longer than four weeks, depending on the publication.

TYPES OF STORIES

Whether you’ve triumphed over tragedy, survived a medical trauma or fallen in love in unusual circumstances, I’d love to hear your story. Has life been unkind but you’ve come out on top? Perhaps you’ve been left heartbroken by a loved one or partner? Or have you had found happiness when you least expected?

From weight loss to the weird and wonderful - everyone has a story to tell and by telling your story, chances are you’ll be giving inspiration and courage to those who see your story in print.

MONEY

Some people tell their story for money while others speak to raise awareness, for closure or to fight for justice. You can do whatever you like with your payment and donate it to charity if you wish. Each publication has a different pay day but I’ll go through that with you before you give me the go ahead.
